Here's my full process for getting clean, professional voice audio in Final Cut Pro. In this FCP tutorial I start where it actually starts, with what levels to record at so you're not fighting clipping or noise later. Then compression and limiting with the exact settings I use, Final Cut Pro's built in voice isolation and how it compares to a third party plugin that handles it better, mixing your music so it sits underneath your voice instead of on top of it, using Channel EQ to carve out the frequency range your dialogue lives in, and saving all of it as presets so you're not rebuilding this on every project. There's also a look at Motion Array's AI voice tools at the end.
