Something we barely notice every day could outlive generations. For decades, discarded tires were seen as a stubborn pollutant — stacked, buried, or burned.
But today, that same rubber is being shredded, heated, and blended into some of the most durable roads on the planet. Captain Discovery goes inside the facilities where millions of worn-out tires are transformed into asphalt additives, playground surfaces, and construction materials.
