Okay, this is weird. It wasn't the weirdest thing ever, but it was weird... at least weird for being on the beach. We were walking along Long Beach, BC, Canada, on September 8, 2018, when we came across a weird thing. Most things aren't weird everywhere; for example, a toothbrush isn't weird next to a bathroom sink, but it would be weird to glue a toothbrush to the side of the CN Tower in Toronto. A potato in the kitchen isn't weird, but a potato nailed to the glass door in front of a bank or taped to the front of your forehead would be weird. A squash lying about on the beach is weird by most people's standards. I think.
Have you seen anything like this? This is a first for me, and I've been visiting Long Beach since 1971 or so.
Long Beach is in the Pacific Rim National Park, near Tofino and Ucluelet, on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
