Have you ever noticed that carabiners have a little hook where they connect? Tim, from our 3D printing team, was curious about how much of a difference that makes in the strength of a carabiner, so to test it, he 3D printed 2 models using the Stratasys J55 3D printer. The first was a traditional carabiner, just like what you would expect. The second had no hook; everything else was the same. So how did they do?
