In this week’s video, I’m creating a nostalgic collage in my art journal that holds a very special place in my heart. Inspired by my grandmother’s handwriting and memories from my family’s time in Gloucester, I weave personal stories into this art process, making this one of my most cherished pages. I use a variety of mixed media techniques, including collaging with transparent medical exam paper and aging the journal entry with distress inks. If you love experimenting with personal and nostalgic elements in your art, you’re going to love this process!
