I picked up this 80s nightstand set for just $20 each from a thrift store… and they definitely needed some love. They were solid, but outdated with old trim and worn surfaces.
So I removed the trim, filled and sanded everything smooth, then primed and painted them in a beautiful warm cobblestone shade. I kept the wood top and did a subtle paint wash to enhance the natural grain, then added textured wallpaper to the front panels for depth and character. Finished it off with sleek black hardware and new modern legs.
The result? A completely transformed, modern nightstand set that looks brand new!
