This big Water Oak limb fell across the street and barely missed my neighbor's house. I told her I'd clean it up and use the wood for our outdoor classroom. She was happy to hear we could use the wood.

Many will watch and point out the dangers of this method. You should split wood the way you feel is best for you. This is how I do it.
