In this video I break down how we scaled our SaaS to 25,000 users and around $8,000 per month using organic social media as our main growth channel. I walk through the exact growth strategies we used, why we expanded from a single AI UGC account to 20 to 40 creator accounts, and how we reinvested revenue back into marketing to drive more user growth.
I also cover the technical scaling issues we ran into as usage increased, including moving part of the stack away from fully serverless infrastructure, dealing with Postgres connection pooling issues, using Upstash workflows, and adding a dedicated server to handle more database operations.
On the business side, I talk through the churn problems we hit, what we learned from analyzing our user base, and how that changed our ICP from prosumer creators toward brands and agencies that had lower churn and higher product usage. I also share our future plans for growth, including more organic content, better targeting, and experimenting with cold outreach.
