I've been looking forward to the next Mad Max film ever since I saw the first one, and as soon as I see Furiosa, I'll be so hyped waiting for the next!
To calm myself just the smallest bit, I decided to paint the smallest Furiosa! Or rather Foxtrot from Hasslefree Miniatures. This model is a few years old, so represents Furiosa as played by Theron, who was awesome! I can't wait to see how Talor-Joy plays the roll.
As this model has been waiting for a while, I dusted it off and got to painting, I wanted to paint darker tones lower on the model, and lighter tones higher, to subtly focus the viewer to her face, but also without using washes, deliberately placing every shadow and colour separation. Some techniques I've used many times, and some are new to me, but it's always good to practice and fit a variety of skills together.
