Stylist Diana Kaumba didn't plan to make her granny famous. But during a family visit to Zambia in 2024, the ‘Legendary Glamma’ was born.
Legendary Glamma is Margaret Chola, Diana's Mbuya, who is now in her 80s. This is their story.
The Coming of Age is a free exhibition at Wellcome Collection. It looks at experiences and perceptions of ageing, from adolescence to later life, and asks how societies can adapt for us all to age better. Open until November 2026. wellcomecollection.org/exhibitions/the-coming-of-age
