Errant Signal | How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Mods @ErrantSignal | Uploaded February 2014 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
A short episode in which I describe my rather complicated relationship with game mods and how I eventually found peace with them. I sort of avoided some of the potential bigger questions mods raise - how do mods impact authorial intent? Is there a key difference between mods that 'fix' things like game balance or functionality, mods that introduce new features and systems, and mods that just let you play as Homer Simpson shooting laser guns at anime characters? But while those questions are interesting, this is supposed to be a short episode. So... Yeah.
