HOW I DEALT WITH AN AGGRESSIVE TAILGATER ON THE YAMAHA XT250

Here's footage of an aggressive #tailgater that I had behind me whilst riding Mrs Rider Guider's #YamahaXT250. My message here is how to deal with this situation, I did for a few seconds maybe show what not to do and attempt to make a safe gap but the fact that I was on an XT250 and not a TZR250 became quite obvious when I drew upon my experience and recognised the limits of my tyres and suspension on the road I was on. The car, being a Subaru AWD being driven by a risk taker was always going to be quicker through the twisties so I made the correct decision when it was safe to do so to wave him by me, after my favourite bit of defensive riding as I approached a junction, backing him up to slow him down to reduce the risk of me being rear ended. There are many lessons in this clip, especially for new riders on bikes that aren't necessarily equipped for these types of roads and situations. Watch out for the driver then tailgating the vehicle in front after and also blindly poking his car in to on coming traffic to check for a potential overtake. Ride Safe my friends.
