Building on hillsides is notoriously challenging in Cities: Skylines—so challenging that it's tempting to just stick to flat, easy maps. But one of the things that makes New Banff so special is that it isn't flat. And since we placed our downtown in a heavily space-constrained location, we're now being forced to tackle the mountain head-on!

In this one, we'll explore ways to build on hillsides and discuss why and how it happens in the real world. By the end, we'll have a beautiful hillside neighborhood that you should be able to easily emulate yourself, if you'd like to.

And stick around until the end, where I'll make a couple of tram fixes based on YOUR feedback.
