It's been long overdue for me to talk about Luigi's Mansion Plus, a mod that existed for a while but recently wrapped up development. The author? Oh yeah, it's me, Particular Mushroom!
Ever since the PAL Hidden Mansion, I've always wanted a way to play it. But being one ocean removed that didn't seem likely. Now, thanks to Nintendo Switch Online, that is finally possible! Just make sure you play the European version of the game, and beat it once to unlock the Hidden Mansion.
But NSO took too long for me, so I took matters into my own hands. In this video, we'll discuss why players like to mod games in the first place, and what inspired me to create this one. Then we'll dive into my various design choices, including the nefarious Hidden Gauntlet and the newly added Book of Darkness. It's an overview of sorts, but should be entertaining enough to sit back and enjoy!
