Creativity has always evolved alongside the tools we use. What matters isn't the tool itself, but the intention behind it.

Every shift in filmmaking, from new cameras to digital editing, CGI, VFX, and beyond has expanded what is possible. But with every new tool, the responsibility of the creator has remained the same. You still need taste. You still need direction. You still need restraint, judgment, and a clear reason for every creative choice. Technology can open new doors, but it cannot replace the point of view behind the work.
That is how I see AI. Not as a replacement for creativity, but as another tool that can extend an idea when it is used with care and intention. At its best, it is not there to do the thinking for you. It is there to help you push an idea further, explore new possibilities, and bring something to life in a way that still feels rooted in human vision.
For me, the value of any tool has never been in what it can do on its own, but in what it can make possible in the hands of someone with something to say. The process may evolve, but the principles do not. Story still matters. Emotion still matters. Meaning still matters. And the choices behind the work will always matter most.
