Harry Basil’s role was small, but he was part of the episode “Jerry Lewis Week” on the sitcom Buffalo Bill.

The premise of the episode was that the TV station where Buffalo Bill worked was hosting a tribute to Jerry Lewis. As part of the chaos, the station became overrun with Jerry Lewis impersonators. Harry Basil appeared as one of those impersonators, performing a Jerry Lewis impression.

Another young comedian in the same group of Jerry Lewis impersonators was Jim Carrey, who also made an early appearance in the episode before making it big.
