Governments and businesses must supercharge decarbonisation to limit global warming to 1.5 ˚C. What can they do? Find out here: bit.ly/3nYeuSR At Ørsted, we take the necessary action to stop climate change. As the world’s most sustainable energy company, we want to help others take urgent action, too.

We believe governments and businesses have the obligation to assume leadership in climate action. They need to take responsibility for the decarbonisation of the power sector, support the sustainable electrification of other sectors, and accelerate the energy transition by scaling renewable energy solutions.

This green transformation of the global energy system is now technologically possible. It is also cost competitive and will create jobs, improve global health, foster economic growth, and preserve the planet. This means the payback from climate action by governments and businesses will be huge for everyone.

This video interview with our CEO, Mads Nipper, details what governments and businesses can do to kick-start their green energy transition, reduce climate change, and ensure we stay below a 1.5 ˚C temperature increase.
