Over the years, the Need For Speed franchise has been getting success after success with their previous games, notably Hot Pursuit and High Stakes and I mean I don’t need to tell you why, the gameplay of these games speaks for themselves they know who they are, they are pretty good.
But back in 2002, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was released in 2002 with strong positive reception, both critically and commercially and many people back then, called HP2 the peak of the Franchise, but Black Box had to make something new for their next installment, I mean how are you going to outclass HP2? What innovations did they have to make for their next game? I mean that would be impossible right? You can’t outpeak the peak, right?
Well, we'll see about that in this review of Need For Speed Underground.
