In this video I go into the three major mistakes composers make with the Small Ternary, a musical form that can be thought of as ABA.
The Small Ternary is the basis for the larger musical forms, such as Rondo, Sonata, Large Ternary, and Concerto forms.
A mastery of the small ternary will set you up to tackle those larger, more substantial musical structures.
