In this video, I check out the FlashForge Creator 5 - a $699 Tool Changer 3D Printer! Brought to you by Flashforge. Check out the Creator 5 at jle.vi/creator5 and use code SAVE30NOW to get an additional $30 off the early bird price.

It feels like just yesterday that we were marveling over the fact that the SnapMaker U1's retail price was just $999. I mean... a tool changer 3D printer... for under $1,000?!

For context, the Bambu Lab P2S combo runs $999. So when FlashForge reached out and told me about the FlashForge Creator 5... My curiosity was piqued, and I just had to know more.

In this video, we're taking a closer look at the FlashForge Creator 5, a versatile 3D printer that boasts four independent tool heads, making multicolor 3d printing and multi-material projects a breeze. But with the FlashForge Creator 5, you get these advanced capabilities without the hefty price tag, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for an accessible and powerful 3d printer.

So throughout the video, I try to unpack HOW they hit that price. From the clever extruder motor coupling design and neodymium magnet toolhead locks, to the USB cable comms and manual filament loading, and more importantly, whether any of those tradeoffs actually matter in real-world use of this 3D printer.

Is this a SnapMaker U1 killer? A Bambu Lab P2S Killer? Or a low-budget copycat? Will it turn out to be the best 3d printer for beginners... or a nightmare that only experienced users should consider?

If you're looking to get into multimaterial 3D printing, but have been holding off on purchasing a tool changer 3D printer... you aren't gonna wanna miss this one!
