Were finally able to do this trick with only 9 explosives! Sub 10 explosives!

Yesterday I figured out, that sideways Mega Flips reach the same distance as normal ones. So instead of hovering in a diagonal line, I simply used sideways Mega Flips, what made that single Bomb Hover finally possible.
This should be the limit for this trick now ;)
