📍Gloria Swanson is a fashion icon and star of silent films.
She was a self-confessed clothes freak, and silent film audiences admired not only her acting but also her fantastic clothes. She launched her own fashion label, id. Joe Kennedy (the President's father) for many years, and was a staunch advocate of a healthy lifestyle.At only 5'6" tall, the piercing blue-eyed actress was born in Chicago to a military father. As a result, the family moved around a lot, and Gloria spent part of her childhood in Puerto Rico, where she learned Spanish. She got into filmmaking by accident. At the age of 15, she and her aunt visited the Essenay Film Studio in Chicago and she was hooked.
