Full Sail graduate Justin Rathbun shares how he built a career in live audio, becoming the A1 and Production Sound Engineer for the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton from its earliest productions.
Before ‘Hamilton’ arrived on Broadway, Justin worked alongside creator Lin-Manuel Miranda as the A1 for ‘In the Heights.’ His additional Broadway credits include Rodgers and Hammerstein's ‘Cinderella,’ The Gershwins' ‘Porgy and Bess,’ and ‘Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.’
Justin's work on the filmed production of ‘Hamilton’ on Disney+ earned him a Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing and an Emmy Award nomination.
