Ever freeze a salmonid with 100% freeze, and have no effect? Here is how it actually works in Splatoon Raiders as it can be a bit misleading. Enemies get resistances and in Splatoon raiders this is no different, freeze, ferment or scorch all have diminishing returns, and this requires 2x the amount to trigger it.
Freeze 1 is 1 time, second freeze 2, third if 4, fourth is 8 and so on.
This is, however, impacted by weapons that can apply freeze, making it more consistent if you use a freeze weapon alongside the jump bomb / blast boot etc
