In Studio 1 of what is now EastWest Studios, EastWest recorded Hollywood Orchestra — featuring Hollywood’s top musicians and engineered by Academy Award–winner Shawn Murphy. It went on to become the best-selling orchestral library ever released.

The team returned in 2019 to create Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition, which added new sections and features and won the NAMM TEC Award for Best Musical Instrument Software.
