Not every back-to-school keynote has to drown faculty and staff in PowerPoint slides before wrapping up with a cute ending poem.
This one for @thewylieisd was different.
Flying toilet paper. Giant smoke rings. Hands-on experiences designed to explore the science of engagement and demonstrate what becomes possible when people connect at a higher level.
Wylie’s leaders modeled that beautifully. Amanda Lannan opened the morning by joining me for the toilet paper experiment. Dr. Kim Spicer stepped into the smoke ring finale. Lee Hattaway managed the complex logistics that allowed the experience to work for everyone in the room.
