🔥My good friend, Jacob Walda, on his podcast, asked me, "How have you been able to keep your fire alive for Jesus for nearly twenty years?"
As I thought about it, I realized that the source of my flame for God is my gratitude and thankfulness for what the cross of Jesus Christ has done for me.
When I think about my condition without Christ, how the Bible says that I was dead in sin, that I was an enemy of God, and that I was without hope, it gives me a sobering revelation of what my life would have been like apart from Christ. Eternally lost and destined for damnation without God. That is serious.
But when I meditate on what Christ has done for me, how He has forgiven me of all my sin, how He has lifted me out of darkness and despair and seated me at the right hand of God in Christ, how He has made me one with Him, a joint heir and an ambassador of the kingdom of God, it fills my heart with such joy, delight, gratitude, and thankfulness.
I could never grow old or grow dim in my gratitude for what Jesus has done for me. This has been the source of my flame.
And the more I learn about what Christ has done for me, as I study the Scriptures and walk with Him, the brighter and brighter that flame becomes.
All glory to King Jesus. 🔥🔥

This is a good video of us reaching out to bless others in Jesus name. Its a little long in the middle but it may be helpful to some in training to see more of the interaction with sharing the good news. Blessings in Jesus!
