I almost started crying when I made this, I don’t really know why but it’s emotional when you think about how this resonates with every Shinobi on a deep level. Just think about it, let that sink in.
Many were shunned and abused, mostly only Jinchuriki were abused. But regular people like Shino were shunned for being too weird or different.
All Shinobi every day have to live with the fear that something terrible was gonna happen everyday, they never knew what was gonna come next or what the outcome of a fight would be.
They never knew what would happen on a mission, or during wars.
Heck, Naruto’s life came out being abused and hated and shunned all because he had the nine tails. Sure, the nine tails almost killed the entire village. But why hate the kid?
Same for Gaara, except Shukaku did NOTHING to the sand villagers (from what I know), and Gaara was a completely normal kid that just wanted a friend.
Characters like Kakashi always had important people dying. Kakashi’s father commit suicide, Rin basically also commit suicide. Same for Obito but he didn’t know he was gonna die (and he didn’t. But Kakashi didn’t know that.) Kakashi basically had no mother.
Naruto also grew up pretty similarly. Parents died basically right after he was born, had nobody for the first few years of his life. A literal ramen cook saved him from becoming evil. He saw Sasuke leave the village, he fought with Gaara to make him good, he went through training with Jiraiya, he saw Neji die, Jiraiya died, Sakura faked a love confession. Etc.
Sorry for the rant, I just really love this anime and find the story and plot very well written and how characters like Naruto and Kakashi were always on their last thread but a person or two held them from snapping.
