BBSRC | How do we choose the #foods we eat? | A cross-cultural comparison study @bbsrcmedia | Uploaded March 2015 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Every day we make choices about the foods we eat.

Try as we might, it's all too easy to make decisions that aren't the best for our short-term waistlines or long-term health.

It's obvious that in the developed world, and in urban centres in many developing countries, we live in what's now referred to as an 'obesogenic environment': one replete with myriad culinary options from around the world that we couldn't dream of 20 years ago, let alone one hundred.

Watch as experts explore how we make our food decisions, day in, day out. Hear as experts from the University of Bristol and Bucknell Univeristy in Pensylvannia discuss an in-depth cross-cultural comparison study, and how our environment and cultures influence how we choose to eat.
