Finding your art style is like dating.
You don’t find “the one” by stressing over it. It finds you, and half the time, you won’t even realize it’s happening.
For a while, I too was obsessed with making my style unique. But you know what that did? It made me hate everything I drew. I was so focused on trying to be “someone else”, someone “famous” that I forgott why I even started drawing in the first place.
But the moment I let go, stopped forcing it, and just had fun, everything changed. My style developed on its own.
So if you’re stressing about finding your art style, maybe it’s time to stop searching… and start drawing instead. 😉
