You might be wondering: how exactly did SB19 get a slot at Lollapalooza?

‎Well, they absolutely deserve the opportunity. They have a massive fan base in America, and their live performances have consistently proven how good they are on stage. But we also can’t deny that connections played a role in making this opportunity happen.

‎According to a report by PEP.ph, Live Nation Philippines Managing Director Rheeza Pascua was the one who pushed for SB19 to be included in the Lollapalooza lineup.

‎After the success of SB19’s Simula at Wakas concert, which she helped produce, Pascua saw just how strong the support for the group really was. She was reportedly surprised when SB19 filled the Philippine Arena almost instantly, with some fans even flying to the Philippines just to watch their show.

‎She even compared A'Tin to Army because of how dedicated and passionate the fandom is.

‎Around September 2025, while SB19 was still on their world tour, Pascua reached out to the director of Lollapalooza and asked if SB19 could be considered for the festival.

‎Of course, we know that Live Nation has a connection to Lollapalooza, so the request was possible. But months passed, and there was still no response.

‎Pascua reportedly chose not to tell SB19 right away because she didn’t want them to get their hopes up.

‎Then, in January 2026, the opportunity finally came.

‎SB19 was offered a slot at Lollapalooza, thanks in part to Pascua’s efforts, and 1Z Entertainment accepted the offer.

‎At first, the boys were reportedly booked on a smaller stage with only a three-song set. But Pascua pushed again, asking for SB19 to be moved to a bigger stage because she knew that many fans would be willing to spend money just to see them perform.

‎Usually, first-time festival performers start on smaller stages. But SB19 ended up on the Allianz Stage with a full 45-minute set.

‎And even Pascua admitted that she initially got worried when she saw the crowd.

‎This was the crowd during their first song.

‎Then this was the crowd during their second song.

‎And this was the crowd by the end of their performance.

‎The audience kept growing throughout the set—and even Pablo noticed how more and more people were joining the crowd while they were performing.

‎And according to Pascua, this actually showed something important: not everyone in that crowd was already a fan.

‎Many were probably watching simply out of curiosity after seeing A-Teen singing and dancing along to SB19’s music.

‎And honestly, that makes their Lollapalooza performance even more impressive.

‎The process of getting that slot clearly wasn’t easy, but look at what SB19 eventually accomplished. The audience response and the group’s performance were both incredibly commendable.

‎And there’s even more.

‎Pascua reportedly received another call, this time from the president of Lollapalooza, who expressed interest in bringing SB19 to shows in South America and India—depending, of course, on the group’s schedule and whether they accept the offers.

‎So who knows?

‎The boys always seem to have another surprise waiting.

‎Better watch out, because SB19’s Lollapalooza journey might only be the beginning.
