I've always wondered what the world's most venomous snake was like to encounter in the wild. Today, I'm heading to the outback of Australia to come face to face with an inland taipan-- the snake with the world's most dangerous venom.

My name is Spencer Hoffman. I’m a biologist and filmmaker from North Carolina and my goal is to find the most extreme life forms in the world—from the strangest, to the deadliest— and capture the stories of how their insane lifestyles help them to survive on our Weird Planet.
