What happens when an ambitious student project grows into something much bigger than expected?

Our team originally planned to complete this animated short film in just two months. Choosing Critical Role’s Mighty Nein gave the team strong visual inspiration, but it also introduced a new challenge: how to keep iconic characters recognizable while still bringing original creative ideas to the project?

Inside the Short Film Creation course, students discovered how much iteration, communication, and revision go into professional productions. By the end of this phase, students had developed stronger design and animation skills, along with a much deeper understanding of studio-style production pipelines.

🎬 Follow along as the project enters its next major challenge.
