This painting is called A Practical Guide to Supernatural Genius, the same title as my book.
What’s wild is that the idea for this painting has been with me for more than six years.
I painted a small version once.
It followed me from New York to Arizona.
It got damaged.
It never became a series.
And yet it never went away.
Recently, I painted a differnt version again (smaller than what we see here) again. Without overthinking.
It sold instantly.
That’s when something clicked.
Creative breakthroughs don’t arrive as lightning bolts.
They arrive as obvious next steps, but only when you’re coherent enough to hear them.
This video is a sped-up look at the painting process, with a voiceover about where inspiration actually comes from, why big creative leaps feel strangely normal, how peace of mind creates access to revelation, and why most ideas fail not from lack of talent, but from lack of readiness.
