Brian Lawlor is a Founding Director of the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin. He trained in geriatric psychiatry and practiced for over 30 years as a consultant psychiatrist at St James’s Hospital Dublin where he led the development of the Memory Clinic and geriatric psychiatry services. He is a recognised expert on dementia and has published widely in the area of loneliness and its impact on brain health.
