As global temperatures rise and we experience more weather-related disasters, we need to change the way we prepare and respond; that’s where the Social Work and Disaster Network comes in.
Based out of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Social Work, this network fosters connections and builds relationships between social work practitioners so that they’re better prepared to respond to the challenges that disasters present.
