In 2007, Dark Horse Comics released the continuation of the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE television series after it was canceled/ended. This brought a ton of non-traditional comic book readers into shops looking for their favorite slayer, which opened the door to introducing these readers to some fantastic indie books.
