Bliss has started to shake his head to tell me that he doesn’t want to do the training that we’re doing anymore. He’s done it multiple times. And it’s usually when the position is also similar to a down. So in this occasion, I thought he was just confused because he was laying down, but instead he decided to shake his head to tell me he had had enough of the bowing. His way of telling me he’s had enough is usually laying down, but now he started to shake his head when I’m not getting the memo. This is something that splash my border collie who passed did. One day when I was in New York and I was asking splash to go to the toilet in a gutter instead of on grass and she shook her head so much that someone passing by actually screamed and laughed at her because they couldn’t believe the dog was saying no when I said go pee. When Epic doesn’t want to train a specific behavior she will jump on a chair, and cloud and halo will move towards the door to leave, wish turns her head away. It rarely happens with my dogs so I finally got it on video.
