The Tyrannosaurus rex, commonly referred to as the T-rex, stands as a titan among dinosaurs. This colossal predator loomed about 6 metres tall at the hips, equivalent to a two-storey building.

Stretching from its snout to the tip of its tail, it measured an impressive 12 metres in length, roughly the span of a standard bus. With an estimated weight ranging between 8-14 tonnes, it's akin to the combined weight of several small cars.

This sheer size, combined with its sharp teeth and powerful build, made the T-rex an undisputed king of its prehistoric realm, capturing the fascination of dinosaur enthusiasts and paleontologists alike.

Dive into the world of the T-rex and discover more about the ultimate predatory giant of the Cretaceous period!
