The FANG companies are cutting their competition out of the game, not by providing a better product, but by leveraging their monopolies to deny users access to their product.
The Brave Browser literally pays you to watch non-invasive ads. If you don't want any ads, you can flip on the ad blocker and browse the internet (yes, even Youtube) ad free.
Brave provides a better product. But how long will other companies allow them to get away with it?
More importantly, when do we collectively decide that we should be able to choose our own products and services without tech monopolies dictating the landscape?
