BharatGen, a leading model builder under the IndiaAI Mission, is collaborating with NVIDIA to build India’s foundational AI infrastructure using a fully open model approach. By combining Indian datasets with the NVIDIA accelerated computing platform and Nemotron libraries, BharatGen is training multimodal models with up to one trillion parameters, tailored to India’s languages, cultural nuances and local industries.
By releasing model weights, datasets, and training recipes on Hugging Face, BharatGen aims to enable developers, startups, and enterprises across India to fully customize and deploy open, state-of-the-art AI solutions.
