Hey guys!
I was privileged with the opportunity to do a Q and A with Steven Sharif and I got to ask a question that could answer my biggest remaining red flag that I have in mmorpgs.
The tl;dr is that a lot of MMORPGs waste your time with the leveling process and then show that they don't value your time by not attempting to make classes viable. Some classes will inherently be stronger or weaker than others, but the big issue with retention is how quickly can a team make adjustments so that the player base's favorite classes remain viable.
