📍 Anne Bancroft is an Oscar-winning actress who is most remembered in the world today as Mrs. Robinson in her 1967 film 'The Graduate'. The iconic film also directed by Mike Nichols Oscar - is about a graduate college guy who has a relationship with his father’s business partner’s wife but falls in love with the woman’s daughter.
Anne Bancroft was born in 1931 in the Bronx, New York, as the child of Italian immigrants, Anna Maria Louise Italiano. She began his acting career on television as Anne Marno and then contracted with 20th Century Fox in the ’50s.
Her intelligence, humor, honesty and meaning were unique in the art world. Her beauty was different from role to role, and as a perfect actress, she herself has changed radically with every role.
