As a communication game, Multiplayer is an incredibly important part of Animal Crossing New Horizons. Unfortunately, Nintendo has gotten the multiplayer for New Horizons terribly wrong. But I'm not talking about how long it takes to connect to players nor the lack of activities. I'm talking about a multiplayer feature that is heavily overlooked by the vast majority of players, Local Multiplayer. It seems the developers worked hard to get that aspect of the game right, but it's one that a small minority uses.
