Is it possible that the ancient Egyptians knew the meter before Napoleon's savants of the Enlightenment "invented" it? AIP is in receipt of a paper from a Spanish mathematician that is a study of the dimensions of the tomb of Pharaoh Djedefre (Horjedef) which shows knowledge of the meter. His study also references the dimensions of 4th Dynasty Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.

The video includes a discussion with AIP Director Larry Pahl and the author, Willem Verhart, about some of the implications.
