Doors and windows aren't very flexible but a log wall is a dynamic wall system and it needs to be able to expand, contract and settle. The solution is a door or window buck that provides a fixed opening for the door or window while allowing the wall to move around it. Todays video looks at how I achieve these goals on the little homestead cabin.
