Hey there guys in this video I decided to create a new account to play 2v2 with a fresh start to see how accurate Rocket Leagues rank system is (and to see if I could potentially reach Champ if I was given a fresh start)
The way Rocket Leagues Rank system goes is for new players who have never played before you start all the way down in bronze and each win you work your way up through the different ranks, meanwhile for old players at the start of the season your rank becomes hidden but you remain slightly below your previous rank meaning someone who is diamond 2 when the reset happens will be Diamond 1 during their placements and it seems that system adds a small amount of mmr each win meanwhile with a fresh start it is possible to get from Bronze to Champ if you can win all 10 placements.
