Great ideas are easy. Prototypes are hard. In this practical session, Issac shares what it’s really like to lead a youth venture through the prototype stage: coordinating a team, testing materials, learning from what fails and building credibility with partners. Using Second Wave as the case study, he walks through the steps of early-stage climate innovation, from identifying a locally urgent problem to making a first workable product and planning what 'scale' could look like without losing community trust. He also reflects on how global experiences and recognition helped him sharpen the mission and keep momentum when he attended the Future Climate Tech Innovators Summer School in Oxford.
