don't hate me, but i don't mind this simple taiwanese dinner.

before heading home from jiufen old street, we wanted to grab something to eat. so, we went to this cozy restaurant near the entrance.

what i love about this is the quiet and peaceful vibe. we happened to be the last customers for the day, and i noticed how homey the aesthetic was.

to order, the shopkeepers will provide you with this yellow paper. they were so friendly, too!

the food was amazing. i had this braised pork for just 50 dollars. it tasted homemade, yes, but with love. we also had this pork xiaolongbao, and this smoked cherry duck. such great food.

we also had k-pop in the background while we enjoyed our meal.

this was such a perfect way to end our day at jiufen old street.
