My new #BSFL #composting bin is working well, but needs a few adjustments. I observed that the larvae were able to crawl out using the ramp and drop into the catch bin. The diversion walls will need to be extended higher as the moisture in the bin is allowing the larvae to climb the sides of the trashcan.

A large pecan tree had to be taken down to make room for my homes sewer line. I did not want this majestic tree to go to waste. I had the arborist cut the tree into manageable lengths and I kept them all, even the short section of stump. I chainsawed the stump into three rounds, which will be the blacks for three unique live-edge tables.
